Ernest M. Lee's folk art, notecards and other items will be available for purchase during the 70th annual Florida Folk Festival in May. Held Memorial Day weekend, May 27-29, 2022, at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park in White Springs, the Festival is a three-day celebration of the music, dance, stories, crafts and food that make Florida unique.  

We are celebrating Ernest's art and raising funds for an Alachua County Public Schools scholarship of $1,000 in his name. Please support this tasting to keep his memory alive and help us nourish the future for generations to come in his name.

We will celebrate the 157th anniversary of Juneteenth on June 18, 2022, at the Ritz Theatre & Museum in Jacksonville, Fla. 

Ernest's prints and notecards will be available for purchase during this event, featuring a free concert with recording artist Jonathan Nelson. Other performers include evangelist and recording artist Lorraine "Punch" Baldwin, and artists Michael Holloway and Tiffany Boone.

Lee, who died unexpectedly last fall. The Cedar Key Arts Center is proud to host this exhibit of his works, which will be on sale throughout the event. Gallery open daily 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
