Ernest won 2nd place in Fine Arts category at the Longwood Arts & Crafts Festival this past weekend!
Ernest won the Creativity Award this past weekend at the Downtown Festival & Art Show in Gainesville.
Ernest will once again be participating as an art teacher in the Caring & Sharing after school program. We will post updates!
Ernest appeared on The Ilene Silverman Show last week discussing his “Island Grove Gas Station” painting.
Ernest appeared on an episode of Diversity of Urban Art, a production of Orlando Television, the Digital Video Production department of Orlando Tech.
At a young age in Virginia, Ernest was hit by a car causing seizures. His mom, as a military wife, felt ill-equipped to care for him. His grandmother began raising him at her home in North Carolina. She encouraged him continuously in his artistry gift. He tried to get better every day until one evening he felt he had gotten a drawing right.
